The ’stupidity of ’some women’ at an ‘older age’ to want to have kids at their age is ‘mind boggling’ - very silly and selfish. They will be in their 60’s-70’s when the child is ‘only just’ a teenager’ who will be told ‘repeatedly’ by other kids your ‘grandmother’ is a nice lady or whatever. And the kids ‘feelings’ turn to ‘embarrassment’ (no matter how much love for their mother) thats one of the reasons ‘nature’ makes it harder for an older women to ‘conceive’ - to avoid this type of thing happening (nature is very clever - and has considered everything) and then along come these stupid people who are ‘hell bent’ on changing ‘natures system’.
They just don’t want to or care about the upset they will cause in the childs life - because of this selfish action. What are they trying to prove - that they are some sort of ‘freaks’ who because they ‘can’ are going to prove to everybody they can do as they like. Its always the child that will suffer because of what they have ‘chosen to do’. It really is unbelieveable that they go ahead with this sort of thing. Maybe its a ‘physco’ thing - they go back to their childhood and want a real life ‘doll’ again.
I know the women out there are ‘gritting’ there teeth with this comment - but this subject is so serious with regard to the childs wefare it needs saying.

No - Mother Nature stops women of that age being able to conceive for a reason.

I would say no.
This kind of works on the same premise as with modern cars being able to stop faster should we raise all speed limits.

A woman getting IVF treatment at 60 proves two things to the world. 1) There is no fool worse than an old fool. 2) A selfish, self absorbed b****:at 20 is a selfish, self-absorbed b**** at 60. Feminism must have limits. One can’t just screech about rights. One must have a sense of responsibility and exercise common sense.
If they want children, they can adopt them.

No, definitely not, the resent media story of the British woman pregnant at 60+ was a disgrace, she’s not thinking to much of her baby: where will that poor child be when the mother is in her 70’s and not fit to look after him/her.
Personally, i think the age limit should be 50 or even 45 for IVF treatment in the UK.

Life expectancy rising doesn’t ensure the vitality of that life. Women 60+ would tire much more easily than those younger.

Once stem cell therapy is a full secure system and not just a meteor in deep space headed some where, the female human unit will be viable for breeding into the later years. Who can claim now that a woman in her 70s or older will not have a healthy child and out live it once she claims to physical immortal DNA.
Never under estimate the mighty stem cell.

well in my opinion, children should grow up with relatively young parents who can take an interest in what they do, at 60 its not even certain if you will see them grow up, i am 61 and the thought of bringing up a child who will be 18 when i am 79 is anathema, it baint natural, pardon the lapse of lingy
