The claims culture in th UK?
Posted in Health Insurance - Free QuotesIs it not time this practice was stopped.
Every day it gets more and more like the U.S. where it is illegal to sell set of step ladders without including a set of instructions.
At one time, when we had road traffic accidents, the police used to attend and remove the wreckage and let the traffic flow asap. Now they attend and close the road for hours (sometimes days) because they need to establish blame so that those involved, and the insurance companies, have a culprit to sue and the police get someone to charge.
Police chase twoc’rs at break neck speed. Why?
It is only a lump of metal with four bits of rubber attached, why must the police follow the thieves lead and break every road law in the book?, is it just to satisfy the insurance companies.?
A big fat unfit woman walks into an office block wearing high heels and slips, she claims against her employer and gets £5000.
When can we get back to normality, when will everybody start to work extra time to get more money instead of always looking for an easy pay out.
Last week, a health authority was forced to pay out something like £27million to a boy whom an aneasthatist had wrongly treated.
Very tragic for the boy, but how can they justify 27million, thats thousands of times more than any one person will ever need to see out their care for the rest of their lives.
Also as it came from the NHS, then it is obviously our taxes that are paying these exhorbitant claims.
Is it time to stop this fiasco?
Hi medium dave
Yes but most of the time, the police know exactly whois driving and need only to go and park outside their house to catch them.
That being the case, either the police are trying to justify their outlandish spending on vehicles, or, the officers just fancy poncing around in fast cars.
