I have my EHIC, would that be sufficient? (I know in other countries in the EuroZone, the EHIC counts for basically nothing).

My son was diagnosed with cancer in November last year. I have decided to buy a car so that my daughter can drive my son to and from hospital and help me with the shopping etc. As my daughter lives in a "car free zone" she can not get a residential parking permit, she only lives a few blocks away. so therefore the car will have to be in my name because of this. will my name have to go on the insurance? and is it ok for me to have my daughter as a named driver.
you have to be a registered keeper in order for me to obtain a parking permit foir her. Her flat is in a car free zone, so she will never be able to park it. we both live in blocks of flats

My eyesight is not perfect, I am short sighted. I want to be a helicopter pilot. Are there any AFs that allow laser eye surgery excluding the USAF.
I heard New Zealand and australia allow it. What about the Dutch AF or the South African AF?
Is there any point in trying the RAF?
(many questions, sorry)
(I am able to apply for dual nationality)

A couple years ago i took out a loan, and decided i had better go ahead and take the payment protection insurance, this was supposed to protect me in the event of illness, unemployment, death, terminal illness, and some other stuff.
I thought this was a good idea because it also included some pretty good health insurance.
The only thing was, over the 3 year term of the loan, i was paying almost £4000 just for the payment protection, on top of the original loan.
So i made payments every month for 2 years, and had about £3000 remaining, which was essentially only the payment protection.
Then BANG…. i got sacked.
Being unable to make payments on the loan, i rang the company assuming that my payment protection would handle it.
But NOOO, since i was sacked as opposed to made redundant, it doesnt count. This was the precise reason i took the payment protection out in the first place, Can i have the payment protection taken off the loan? which would mean it was already paid!
Just Thought I would Name Drop
"WELCOME FINANCE"
i notice there are many posts on here about people being ripped off by them!

I always get stressed in my work and have had 8 jobs in the last 12 years. They have all either been financial or editing/library related. I have kept trying to work hard, try new things, not give up, but frankly, I don’t think I’m going to get any better at it. I have chronic illnesses that have been caused by this situation and I’m tired and worn out. My mental health has suffered for a long time.
I don’t mind doing boring repetious work, I just need something where there is no pressure, just simple, plodding work. If you have any suggestions for an easier working life I would be glad to hear it.
I’m 33 and I have no children. My husband has a good job.
xenobyte72, I don’t deny I need professional assistance, I have been receiving help for many years. I don’t claim that the work I have done is particularly stressful, I only claim that I cannot cope with it. I believe if I joined the Army I would not only have a breakdown but would be very likely to become suicidal. I am looking for less-stressful work, so do you have any suggestions in that direction?
