I am planning to get the Angiography Surgery in India. I have been tired of trying to get it in the NHS. The cost is supposed to be very low in India and I have heard the Hospitals are good.

Apart from the obvious example of cosmetic surgery going wrong, do you think cosmetic surgery can cause low self-esteem in people who have it? Do you think the fact people can have cosmetic surgery can cause low self-esteem in those who don’t even undergo it?

Any other reasons you do or don’t think it does?
But, Pro-Vampire, is plastic surgery the cause of that? Or is feeling like you need it just an indicator of low self-esteem?

I have lose skin around my stomach after losing in total 2 and a half stone. A stone last year then a stone and a half over the last 2 months, i have skin around my stomach how can i get ride of it? Im willing to work hard as surgery isn’t my answer.

Well i have got a lazy eye and in pictures it just makes me look silly, because like one eye is half open and the other is half closed-sounds vain but i’ve had this for like my whole life. Basically i want to get rid of it but i know one way is through surgery and i’m not that desparate. Help please. Also if you have a lazy eye long enough can you go blind in that eye?

I have a really turned up nose (i mean really turned up so that you can see up it without having to bend down). People can see right up my nostrils whenever they speak to me. How can i change it so it is less turned up???

Severe pain in left leg for 7 month, finally got appointment for neuro consultant. Possible trapped femoral nerve is surgery involved to free this.

Would I be put to sleep or would I have my hand numbed with local anaesthetic? I have a 50/50 chance of have surgery near the tip of my index finger (joint closest to the finger nail.) I have what you would call a "mallet finger" where a chunk of bone has broken off. If it makes no progress in healing with the finger splint then it the bone will need screwing back in place.

I’m not opting for anything. It’s the surgeons that will be doing it for me. They will make the decision. It’s the NHS.

I mean the laser surgery that kills the oil glands on your face to stop them from producing oil on you face. My sister-in-law is having it done soon. Anyone done it or know anyone who has gone through with it?
